There are 6 six houses in Ewelme. These are named after the people who are important in the history of the school and village.
Houses meet once a week to debate and make decisions about selected aspects of the school. Every child is placed in a house and these houses compete for house points through each week. At the end of the term the winners of each week are totalled to find the overall winning house. The house captains immediately take possession of the Cup which is filled with lots of treats!

It usually meets once every 2 weeks to discuss and make final decisions about the outcomes of the weekly house group meetings.
